Description:

A migmatite from the Precambrian era, Juparana Colombo granite is an ochre-yellow, yellowish-brown, or pink-yellow rock. Internationally, this stone may be claimed as granite, however in the region where the European Standard is applicable, this stone must be nominated as migmatite. Swatch samples of Juparana Colombo granite must be approved for large projects in order to guarantee that the blocks are all pulled from the same quarry face for matching purposes. The veining and color of this granite vary greatly, and a tiny sample may not be representative of the entire slab.

An even smoother surface finish can be achieved by filling any micro fissures or microscopic pitting that may have developed during the polishing process with transparent epoxy resin filler. The granite known as Juparana Colombo is frost resistant, appropriate for both internal and exterior use, and has a consistent shine.
