Chicken Blood Red Granite
The dickite of the cinnabar band is chicken blood red granite, which has a stronger color than cinnabar. It is sometimes referred to as soapstone because of its brilliant hue, which is comparable to chicken blood. Yuyan Mountain Soapstone in Changhua, Zhejiang, is the oldest soapstone discovered in my nation. Later, it was discovered that the Bahrain bloodstone originated from Bahrain Right Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. In the 1990s, soapstones were found in Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Hunan, Yunnan, and other locations. The amount of bloodstone produced is quite small, and the market price keeps rising as the existing Changhua cinnabar (mercury mine) is almost finished.
Bright red, light red, purple red, dark red, and other shades of red make up bloodstone. The vibrant crimson blood that is active is the most prized. The blood-colored stones are referred to as bloodstones and Chang fossils, respectively.
The bloodstone’s crimson color, which is preferable for its freshness, solidification, and thickness, should be assessed first. The thick ones are those that have thickness and layers deep in the stone layer; the fresh ones are those that are as crimson as dripping blood; the coagulated ones cluster but do not disperse. The bloodstone’s placement is another crucial factor to consider when evaluating it. What kind of stone is stained red on is the ground. The vivid red color of the blood is the best, and the bloodstone’s floor is flawless, translucent, and free of nails. There are several types of soapstone samples, including deformed, square, rectangular, elliptical, and round. The diameter should be between 2 and 5 cm. The fine texture, durability, and tight structure of soapstone make it resistant to breaking when struck by a knife.
Good bloodstones should not be engraved; instead, a seal should be created. It might be claimed that the inexpensive and often used engraved chicken blood is utilized to cover up defects.
