Explore Perfect Stone’s Sydney Crowne Plaza Hotel marble project featuring Carrara White, Nero Marquina and Pietra Grey for flooring, bathrooms and custom stonework.
Perfect Stone supplied a coordinated natural stone package covering marble selection, slab inspection, cutting and fabrication, flooring pattern preparation, bathroom wall panels, vanity components, quality control and project delivery.

The Sydney Crowne Plaza Hotel project required more than supplying individual stone products. The project worked as a coordinated marble cut-to-size package, where repeated flooring patterns, bathroom wall panels and integrated vanity components had to remain visually and dimensionally consistent across multiple hotel areas.
Carrara White and Nero Marquina marble were combined for geometric flooring, while Pietra Grey marble was used for contemporary bathroom wall panels. Accurate cutting, colour control and coordinated fabrication were critical to keeping the finished spaces consistent.
The photographs shown on this page represent selected completed areas. Additional customized stone products and applications supplied throughout the hotel are not included in this selection.
Pattern continuity, dimensional precision and colour control therefore become project-level requirements rather than isolated production checks.
Carrara White marble creates the light field while Nero Marquina forms the contrasting diamond geometry. Because the pattern repeats across corridors and public areas, accurate cutting and joint alignment were critical. Similar project work can also draw on Perfect Stone’s mosaics and waterjet capabilities where more complex decorative layouts are required.

Pietra Grey marble wall panels were used in the hotel bathrooms. The deep grey background and fine white veining create a strong yet controlled contrast with lighter flooring and sanitary fittings. The material sits naturally within a wider family of marble slab solutions and project-based bathroom wall applications.
Repeated bathroom areas benefit from controlled visual variation between supplied panels.
Wall panels need consistent sizing to support alignment across repeated bathroom layouts.
Bathroom wall panels formed part of a wider package that also included vanity components and additional customized stone products.
The project required consistent colour control, repeatable floor pattern accuracy, dimensional precision and coordination across multiple hotel areas.
Stone inspection helps reduce distracting visual variation where the same material repeats across the project.
Geometric floor designs depend on repeatable cutting and alignment between each component.
Flooring, wall panels and custom components need consistent dimensions to support coordinated installation.
Production, inspection and delivery must remain organized when several application areas are supplied together.
From material sourcing and shop drawings to cutting, quality control and final delivery, each step influences how consistent the completed hotel areas appear.
The table below summarizes the principal materials and their representative applications within the selected hotel areas shown on this page.
| Material | Application | Visual Character | Project Consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carrara White Marble | Corridors & Public-Area Flooring | White marble background with soft grey character | Provides the light field for the repeated geometric floor design. |
| Nero Marquina Marble | Diamond-Shaped Flooring Inlays | Deep black marble contrast | Requires accurate cutting and alignment to maintain pattern continuity. |
| Pietra Grey Marble | Bathroom Wall Panels | Deep grey background with fine white veining | Colour control and dimensional precision support repeated bathroom layouts. |
| Custom Stone Components | Vanity Components & Additional Hotel Areas | Project-specific | Produced as part of the wider coordinated stone package; not all supplied applications are shown. |
Perfect Stone provided an integrated project supply process covering the main steps required to move from selected natural stone to coordinated fabricated components for hotel use.
Stone materials are sourced according to the project’s design and application requirements.
Selected slabs are reviewed for colour, pattern and suitability before fabrication.
Project dimensions and component details are coordinated before production.
Repeated flooring layouts require careful preparation before cutting.
Flooring pieces, wall panels and custom stone components are fabricated to project requirements.
Dimensions, appearance and fabrication details are checked before dispatch.
Finished stone components are coordinated for final project delivery.
For hotel projects, visual consistency and repeated fabrication accuracy can matter as much as the stone selection itself.
