Turkish Calacatta Viola Marble is a unique and luxurious natural stone from Afyon Karahisar and Kutaya in Turkey, also known as Afyon violet or Menekse color. This marble has a warm white to bright white base, with prominent purple, wine red, violet and dark textures on it, usually in a net-like pattern, and sometimes with subtle green, gold or copper tones to enhance its depth.
This marble is fine in texture, with moderate hardness, and after polishing, it presents a high gloss, thereby enhancing its brightness and color saturation, making it highly suitable for book-milled mosaic designs.
Technically, it has a dense structure, low water absorption rate and high strength, and is suitable for indoor use, including countertops, feature walls, floors, fireplaces and luxurious interior decoration. Like other marbles, it requires proper sealing treatment and neutral acidic cleaning to maintain its condition.
