Quartz can be called engineering stone or composite stone. The quartz table top is made of 90% to 93% powder rock and natural hard mineral mixed with 7% to 10% resin, polymer and pigment. Today, some quartz also includes mirror fragments and other glass fragments, forming a mixture of unique appearances.
